ABOUT

Amy M. Custer, MPH, is a Contributing Editor to the LARS eNEWS, a quarterly publication. Amy received her BS in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh, Johnstown, PA and her MPH from Claremont Graduate University, Claremont, CA. She has 30+ years experience working in health promotion and disease prevention research. She has developed and implemented programs targeting school age youth and their parents, continuation HS adolescents and adult drug diversion programs. She has been the Project Manager for multiple NIH research grants. In addition to substance abuse and HIV prevention, she is especially interested in Mental Health and applying Public Health principles to stigma reduction, prevention, early intervention and treatment.
